Small Cyclades

Far from the noise of contemporary civilization

Koufonissia Tours is based in Mikres Cyclades.

The main attraction of these small islands lies in their quiet, unadorned beauty.
We would like to give you a tour of our area so that you can have a general picture of what we see every day.

Mikres Cyclades is a group of small islands in the eastern part of the Cyclades.
The inhabited islands are Koufonissia (only Pano Koufonissi is inhabited, Kato Koufonissi is not), Donoussa, Schinoussa, Iraklia and Keros, which is uninhabited. They are situated south-east of Naxos, the largest island of the Cyclades and north-west of Amorgos, the seventh largest island.

The sandy beaches, protected from the wind, the gentle, low-rising hills, the view of the sea and the sky of the islands render walking a delightful activity and give a sense of exhilaration.

Many smaller, uninhabited islets give sailors the opportunity to lose themselves in a dream world in a very short space of time. These islets are Glaronissi, the Makares islets, Kopria, the Avelonissia, Agios Andreas, Argilos (or Agrilos), Aspronissi (or Ligari), Venetico, Voulgari, Klidoura, Lazaros, the Melantii islets, Moschonas, Ofidoussa, the Plakes islets, Plaki, Prasoura, Scandia, Skilonissi, Tsouloufi and Daskalio.
